Just as the RSV4 spawned the Tuono V4, the RS 660 is the platform for other models. In fact, the 660’s engine is the RSV4’s V-Four minus the two rear cylinders. The Tuono is the naked sportbike of the range, with a more upright seating position. As for the Tuareg, it is the adventure variant.

Cycle World revealed the renderings of the production ready Tuono 660 that were submitted for patent purposes.

The renderings show a design that closely mimics the concept bike. This is great news as concepts have more often than not end up as watered-down versions in production form. The only difference we could spot is the elongated bellypanto hide the catalytic converter.

The Tuono 660 should be running by the end of 2020, with the Tuareg 660 released next year.
